Below you’ll find a list of trusted local organizations in the Roanoke Valley that provide essential services, resources, and support for veterans and their families.
Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW Post 1264 – Roanoke)
The VFW is one of the most recognized veteran organizations in the country, and Post 1264 continues to make a strong local impact. The Roanoke VFW provides fellowship, community events, advocacy, and direct assistance for veterans in need.
How to Support: Attend their events, become a member, or donate to help them continue their outreach programs.
Roanoke Vet Center
